About Me

Having grown up in Wales, I moved to the Exeter area to study, and liked it so much that I’m still here all these years later.

Before becoming a counsellor, I worked in the field of infertility, and volunteered in a group supporting new parents.

I bring an understanding of the emotional stress that these stages of life can bring, such as guilt, post-natal depression, grief and loss.

Away from my role as a counsellor, I am a Governor at a local primary school, and was also part of an Expert Parent Engagement Group for the Unicef Baby Friendly Initiative.

I also work with More Positive Me helping deliver their J9 training. This is an initiative to raise awareness of domestic abuse and assist survivors to access support safely by training professionals and members of the community to recognise domestic abuse and respond to survivors.

I will also be helping deliver their Empowerment after Domestic Abuse courses.
